Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra (or yogic sleep) is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. Jennifer Evans, RYT, will guide you to a state in which the body is completely relaxed and the mind becomes quiet through stages of body scan and breath awareness. By only using your sense of hearing, you will gently enter a state of deep rest that calms the nervous system, reduces stress and leaves you feeling completely refreshed. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and be able to lie down for 60 minutes. Blankets, bolsters, mats and eye pillows will be available but feel free to bring any blankets or pillows from home.
